NATAANII MEANS is an American Indian activist and passionate hip hop artist.

Raised in Chinle, Arizona, in the heart of the Navajo Nation, Nataanii embraces his Oglala Lakota, Navajo, and Omaha ancestry, while recounting the everyday life of the 21st century indigenous person. The son of the distinguished Oglala Lakota activist Russell Means, Nataanii tells vivid stories and paints pictures into a world that most do not see. With his father as a constant presence in his music, Nataanii addresses themes such as freedom, identity, government policy and genocide. His debut album titled 2 Worlds was released in October 2013 and has been praised in Indian Country Today.

While attending the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, Nataanii met MIKE CLIFF, A.K.A. „WITKO„. In 2011 the two joined True Pride Music; a collective of law students, graffiti artists, tattoo artists, filmmakers, and musicians that strived to “make something out of nothing” and spread awareness of the injustices they experience firsthand as young indigenous people.

Witko is an indigenous street artist, graphic designer, and hip hop artist. Born in Pine Ridge, South Dakota, Witko is Oglala Lakota of the Great Sioux Nation.
